THE GOLDEN MUSEUM It is a museum located in Bogota, Colombia It displays an extraordinary selection of its pre-Hispanic gold work collection, which show as a collection of 55,000 pieces to 6,000 pieces are on display in their expanded building On the first floor is the museum's main entrance, the shop and a restaurant, The Gold Museum Restaurant and Café. On the second floor the exposition begins, the Main Room is called People and Gold in prehispanic Colombia. Through its glass cases it displays the goldsmith work of the different cultures which inhabited Colombia before the Spanish people arrived; the room is divided into different halls for every culture; Calima, Quimbaya, Muisca , Zenu, Tierradentro, San Augustín, Tolima, Tayrona and Uraba, and a special room called After Columbus.

Bogota's churches

In Colombia the catholic faith is very strong culture, since the spanish conques, here in Colombia celebrate the diffrent religious festival. Bogota like most of the cities and towns in Colombia are developed around churches and squares.One of those churches is the "Capilla de la Candelaria" which is placed in the "Chorro de Quevedo" square. this was the first churche constructed in Bogota. Another important churche is "La Catedral Primada" which is one of the most representative churches in the city. Most of the neighboors in Bogota have their own church, for example "El Santuario de Monserrate y Guadalupe" that are architectonical and touristic places here in Bogota. By: Daniela Vega

english project "centro de alto rendimiento" rugby tournament

lets get started by knowing this sport center in bogota! "centro de alto rendimiento" where a lot of person go and practice different kind of sports. this video will show you a rugby tournament which was done there. At first when i arrived to the place there was a long line of cars waiting for a parking place so i saw that there is a lot of people and most of theme young people who go all weekends and practice the sport they like. From the outside i could see the basketball players in a match most of them tall some with a normal height. Finally we had a parking place and we came down of the car lookibng for theplace where the match was going to be done. I walked all over the place , a very natural and full of lants place , there were also some satues of artists and little shops where you could buy food or drinks. When i arrived to the rugby court the match had already started ( you can see part of the match in the video), unfortunatelly my brother's team didn't win, but i had the opportunity of knowing players and learning more about this sport that is not very popular here in Colombia. From this i learned that sports play an important role in this country and specially this city. so i invite you to go to this place and have an amazing time. By: Manuela Ospina
